ABOUT US
If you want to do something well, do it yourself.
Hello, my name is Masha, and I have three dogs. I got tired of searching for dog gear that I want but can't find, so I decided to sew it myself!
The story of how this brand came to be is a bit blurry in my mind, mostly because it all happened in a somewhat chaotic manner without clear intentions. However, I'm writing a story about how it all began.
I can definitely say that this (the store and making of gear) is more about choosing to do what I love and what excites me. The journey hasn't been easy; there have been losses, disappointments, moments of joy, and that long-awaited satisfaction of finally achieving what I had envisioned. Let's see where this journey takes us.
Let me tell you a bit about how the process of running and creating this brand looks. I don't have a team; I don't order ready-made gear with my logo from China or anything like that. I do everything myself – coming up with ideas, designing prints, sewing, checking everything for correctness, handling deliveries, managing social media, basically everything. Honestly, it's quite a lot for one person to handle. Although I do get some help with the documentary and financial aspects, it's probably the smallest part of running the business.
In my plans, I aim to introduce more prints, more types of fasteners for harnesses and collars, as well as different variations of leashes. In the more distant future, there will be raincoats, pet clothing in general, and pet beds. I hope to eventually become more than just a "one-woman show" and find people to join the team who share my values, but that's all in the future. I'll be closely monitoring what you like and which products you prefer, reading every suggestion, and striving to get better.
So why am I so sure that the gear that I make is good enough? Well, I have two Japanese Akitas and one reactive Pomsky living with me. Believe me, I know what a reactive dog is, and I know what it's like to have a big dog that doesn't like other dogs (except for their own pack). Through my hands and my dogs, we've encountered quite a bit of gear that was uncomfortable for dogs, burnt my hands, and more. Finding gear that is safe for both dogs and humans, comfortable, beautiful, and well-made was no easy task. In short, I went through that «hell», so you wouldn't have to and created comfortable, durable, and beautiful gear for you and your pet.
Now, what I'm currently sewing is primarily dog-oriented, but it has also been tested on cats. The tests have shown that my gear is just as suitable for cats as it is for dogs. So, if you're considering getting gear for your cat, there's a good chance you'll find what you're looking for, and it will be comfortable for your cat. If you have any questions about choosing a gear, don't hesitate to reach out via email or Instagram direct message; I'll help you with your selection.
As the brand develops, social media will be filled with useful information, tips, and life hacks for you, so that you and your pet can worry less and find answers to many questions on social media and the PSINA blog.
