What is CHEST D-RING?

This is an additional D-ring for another variation of leash attachment, that means that you can attach leash carabiner to chest D-ring instead back D-ring, or both at the same time.

What for?

A chest D-ring is a piece of dog equipment used for more effective control of a pet's behavior. Let's assume your dog weighs 20 kilograms or more and is enthusiastic about ducks. Every time it sees ducks, it runs towards them at full speed, and you, of course, run after it, holding the leash.

To avoid having to literally plow the ground behind your dog, especially when it encounters something very interesting, a chest D-ring is used. When the dog is attached to the chest D-ring and pulls in the direction it wants to go, the first thing it has to do is turn around. Since you are standing behind or to the side of the dog, and the D-ring is located at the front of its body, this is one of the effective ways to divert the dog's attention from the irritating object.

Additionally, the chest D-ring allows for the use of balance leashes for training with your dog. It also helps you understand how your dog moves and teaches her to walk on a loose leash.
