DESIGN FEATURES

This is the most classic leash setup — just a handle and a carabiner, with no extra metal hardware. A minimal, lightweight design that keeps everything simple and functional.

DESCRIPTION

We’re moving away from Biothane leashes in favor of Hexa — a material that allows us to sew rather than rivet.
That means a lighter, cleaner construction with no extra metal hardware — only strong, precise stitching.
Hexa also has a better grip: even in the rain it stays secure in your hand, unlike the slicker Biothane surface.
It’s a few grams lighter, easier to handle, and simple to clean — just rinse with water and mild soap, then let it air dry or wipe it off with a cloth.
The material is fully waterproof and non-absorbent — it doesn’t soak in moisture, dirt, or odors.

CARABINERS

Depending on the Hexa width available, we offer different carabiners — some smaller, some larger — each matched to the strap size and purpose. The width directly determines which carabiner makes the most sense in terms of fit, strength, and comfort.

  • For 10 mm Hexa, we use only the Mini carabiner, ideal for dogs up to 6–8 kg
  • For 13 mm, we offer both standard and no-autolock options — the carabiner loop fits this width best and can handle a higher load.
  • For 16 mm, we’ve expanded the lineup: alongside the existing no-autolock and autolock versions, there’s now a lightweight Small carabiner, perfect if you prefer a wider leash with a smaller clip.

Carabiners breaking load
mini - 100kg
small - 191kg
no-autolock - 400kg
autolock - 400kg

STITCHING

Since these leashes are machine-sewn, we use thread instead of rivets. Sometimes a single thread may work its way out of the surface — this is normal for non-woven materials like Hexa. Please check occasionally: if you notice a loose thread, simply trim it and carefully melt the end with a lighter to seal it.

Each connection point is reinforced with multiple rows of stitching for extra safety and long-lasting strength.

WEIGHT/METER

Each Hexa width has a different weight per meter, which affects how the leash moves and feels for your dog:

  • 10 mm — 27 g/m: ultra-light, perfect for small dogs who need freedom of movement.
  • 13 mm — 34 g/m: still light but more stable in motion — great for small to medium dogs.
  • 16 mm — 45 g/m: adds weight and control, ideal for medium to larger dogs.
  • 20 mm — 53 g/m: firm and steady, best for strong or active dogs.

Even the heaviest Hexa version stays lighter than Biothane, keeping the leash balanced and comfortable for the dog to wear and feel through.

  • CARE

    🔧 Carabiner Care Reminder
Even the simplest mechanisms need a little care to keep working properly. If you use your carabiners in all kinds of conditions — mud, sand, water, or on the beach — they can collect debris that affects how the mechanism moves.

Over time, sand or dirt can get into the moving parts, making the carabiner harder to open, close, or even causing it to stick.

To keep everything working smoothly, clean your carabiner from time to time and, if needed, apply a small amount of lubricant (like WD-40) to the moving parts. A quick spray is often enough to restore smooth, safe operation.

  • Attach It Properly!

Please make sure you attach the carabiner to the harness ring correctly. Your dog's safety can depend on proper attachment.
If the carabiner is not secured the right way—especially if it does not have an auto-locking mechanism—it may come undone on its own due to its design. Taking a moment to double-check can help prevent accidents.
